Append-Only Stock Ledger
Unlike basic inventory software that allows stock records to be overwritten or deleted, Invently utilizes an immutable ledger. Every stock entry or sale is an append-only transaction requiring a verified reason code. Staff cannot quietly tamper with stock counts.
Local SQLite Encryption
Data at rest on desktop and mobile clients is stored in an encrypted SQLite database. If a laptop or mobile scanner is physically detached, your customer data and profit margins remain secured behind local encryption keys.
Cost Price & Profit Shielding
Store attendants and counter cashiers are restricted from viewing wholesale cost prices, gross profit margins, and supplier invoices. Permissions are strictly enforced both on the client application and on the synchronization layer.
Scoped Google Drive Backups
Our cloud-drive integration utilizes least-privilege OAuth scopes. Invently can never inspect your personal emails, photos, or documents on Google Drive — access is strictly quarantined to the designated /Invently_Backups/ folder.
Remote Device Revocation
In the event that an employee leaves your organization or a business device is lost, administrators on our Cloud Edition can remotely revoke device access tokens immediately from the central dashboard. Upon next network handshake, the local database instance is safely unlinked.
